Windows XP - Internet Explorer 7.x

1. Open Internet Explorer 7.x and enter the FTP address ftp://wda.ftp4me.com into the address bar and press enter.  This should take you to the W Design Associates FTP site.
2. Enter your assigned user name and password when the connection is made.  If the option for Login Anonymously is checked, clear the checkmark.  Press the Logon button or press Enter to proceed.
3. Select a folder by left clicking on the folder name.
4. Once a file is located for downloading, select from the View menu and select Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer.
5. Windows Explorer will load.  You may need to re-enter your user name and password.  If the option for Login Anonymously or Save Password is checked, clear the checkmarks.  Press the Logon button or press Enter to proceed.
6. The folder contents that are displayed in Internet Explorer should now be displayed in Windows Explorer.  Right click on the file you wish to download and select from the pop-up menu Copy To Folder.  A Browse To Folder dialog box will display.  Select the location on your computer where the file will be placed.
7. Repeat previous steps for other files in the project.

Windows XP - Windows Explorer

1. Right click on the START button and a pop-up menu should display a list of items.
2. Left click on the item Explore.  This should display Windows Explorer.
3. Make sure the address bar is displayed by selecting View from the menu at the top of the screen.  Select Toolbars then Address Bar if it doesn't have a checkmark already next to it.  You may have to clear the checkmark on the item Lock The Toolsbars to move the address bar on the screen.
4. Enter the FTP address ftp://wda.ftp4me.com into the address bar and press ENTER.
5. Enter your assigned user name and password when the connection is made.  If the option for Login Anonymously or Save Password is checked, clear the checkmarks.  Press the Logon button or press Enter to proceed.
6. Your assigned user name and password will take you to the project requested.  Once there, double left click onto one of the folders to see the contents.
7. Right click on the file you wish to download and select from the pop-up menu Copy To Folder.  A Browse To Folder dialog box will display.  Select the location on your computer where the file will be placed.
8. Repeat previous steps for other files in the project.

Windows Vista - Internet Explorer 7.x

1. Open Internet Explorer 7.x and enter the FTP address as ftp://wda.ftp4me.com into the address bar and press enter.  This should take you to the W Design Associates FTP site.
2. When a connection is made, enter your assigned user name and password in the dialog box and select Log On
3. After your user name and password have been verified, you should see a listing of directories labeled Addendums, Drawings and Specifications.  Select one of the directories that you wish to download from.
4. When you select a PDF file for downloading, left click on the file to downloading and the PDF file will be displayed on your screen.  Depending on the size of the file and speed of your internet connection it may take a few minutes for it to display.
5. Once it's displayed on your computer, select the icon that looks like a diskette.  This will allow you to save the PDF file to your computer where you tell it.
6. When you select a DWF file for downloading, left click on the file for downloading and a dialog box should pop-up and allow you to save the file to your computer where you tell it.

Windows Vista - Windows Explorer

1. Left click on the windows icon or start button and select Explore.
2. Click in the address bar at the top and enter the FTP address as ftp://wda.ftp4me.com and press enter.  This should take you to the W Design Associates FTP site.
3. When a connection is made, enter your assigned user name and password in the dialog box and select Log On.
4. After your user name and password have been verified, you should see a listing of directoris labeled Addendums, Drawings and Specifications.  Double left click on one of the directories that you wish to download from.
5. Right click on the file you wish to download and select Copy To Folder.  This will allow you to save the file to your computer where you tell it.  This process works for either PDF files or DWF files.
